IS Deck 4 - Crab/Med Pulse - (265 Tons)
From Mercstar Wiki
- CRB-27B - Short Range:
This deck utilizes the crab strategy that we use in quickplay as a fast way to get a significant tonnage advantage on top of the default tonnage advantage the Inner Sphere is given. All 12 individuals should run the crab either first or second wave and just like in quick play only legs will be targeted. This ensures that any mech that is not completely killed will still be significantly combat ineffective. Most organized groups tend to drop heavy tonnage first and second so expect them when playing against organized groups.
- WHM-6D (Brawler - 1):
Medium Pulse Brawling version of the WHM. This mech has significant firepower over the short term. However be careful staring down your targets as it is possible for this mech to be targeted in the CT very easily. Be sure to twist and spread your enemies damage around your mech as survival in this mech will be your hardest task
- WHM-6D (Brawler - 1):
If one is good then two times is better.
- BL-7-KNT-L (Brawler - 1):
This black knight rounds out the medium pulse deck. Its significant armor quirks allow it to tank damage for more fragile mechs. Be sure to make your enemy shoot every part of your mech to get full value out of its tanky nature. Try to use this mech to engage on corners and sides of objects due to its low mounted weapons you will lose most hill humping style trades.
