COMMENTARY:
This is a brawler support mech, this mech is designed to support longer and shorter ranged mechs by standing back from the primary engagement and either protecting the longer ranged mechs from short range threats or for supplementing brawler mechs with high DPS firepower. This mech is not meant to soak or absorb damage as a primary tanker. This version runs much cooler than the Skirmisher - 2 variant but may run too cool. If you find that you are never nearing your heat capacity in this mech you may want to go for the slightly hotter harder hitting version of Skirmisher - 2.
